For raising the inspiration of freedom fighters again in the minds of the worriers, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh PK Dhumal has planned to unveil a 15-ft statue of Rani Lakshmi Bai three tonnes weighing horse riding statue at the Rani Jhansi Park. On 18th of November, the statue of ‘Jhansi ki Rani’ revealed in Shimla and also opened the main gate to the park. The statue of Rani Lakshmi Bai has been carved by Faqir Charan Parida of Haridwar who has made at a cost of Rs 26 lakh.
Jhansi Ki Rani is the story of a normal girl who went on to become a strange leader. Her boldness against the British is consummate till today. Jhansi ki Rani’ was great heroine of the first war of India freedom and she was the queen of her state. Apart from this, she was very cunning and made a grip on her state and fought with enemies of our nation. She lived for only twenty-two years but only for her country. She was the picture of loyalty, self-respect and heroism.
Therefore, a 15-ft statue of Rani Lakshmi Bai is an inspiration for our future generations which will remind them a history which Rani Lakshmi Bai has been marked in India before her death. How she fought for our country with our enemies and made many sacrifices for this nation. Further, this statue boosts our lives and make alert from our enemies who want to spoil our image of our nation.
At the end, the statue of Rani Lakshmi Bai draws an attention amongst young generation who are unable to judge a person correctly.
