A 108 feet tall Hanuman statue has been constructed at the top of the famous Jakhu Temple of Shimla. This statue has added a power in this temple. The best part is that the ceremony of this statue was inaugurated by Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal.
The statue of hanuman idol is situated at an altitude of 8,500 feet from the sea level. It has been built at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore with weighs 1,500 tonnes. On the other hand, it is a fantastic tallest lord hanuman idol that becomes another achievement of India. The existence of this statue reminds the time of epic period of Ramayana. During the battle of Ramayana, A priest Lakshmana was injured and only herb could save his life. Lord Hanuman was sent to get that herb from the lofty mountains and he took rest and affixed his footprints at Jakhoo temple.
Apart from this, the best part about the statue of Hanuman in Jakhoo temple is that it has sensors that keep birds away. Further, one can be seen at his roof because it’s high feet height. It also gives to the Indians a feel of proud. One of the great parts of this statue is that it will take 2 years to make complete construction.
Thus, the statue has been erected in Jakhoo temple and become a strong power among the Indians.

It is great experiense for me when i visit at jakhu temple in the month of june 2012 and I was surprised to see A wonderfull statue of lord Hanuman ji it is so nice I pray all the citizen of the world please visit jakhu temple at shimla himachal pradesh once in the life.
it was a great realief for me after getting darshan of Jakhoo temple as which was visible from way i entered shimla…. But while going 2 mall road i was unable 2 find the path for temple and it was about 6.00 and finally i got a taki and got a darshan and can do aarti also. ” JAI SRI RAM “
